The holder of the level 3 vocational qualification in building equipment electrician carries out low-voltage electrical installation work (high and low voltage) for residential and other buildings, based on assembly drawings and diagrams. You will be required to carry out safety upgrades to electrical installations in existing buildings. They receive instructions from their manager and may work alone or as part of a team. He works in coordination with other trades, in empty premises or premises occupied by users.
They travel depending on the site. They work regular hours, although deadlines may require them to work overtime or change their schedule. In residential buildings, he checks and commissions the installation. He carries out troubleshooting of the installation in the event of a malfunction being observed.
The equipment electrician works on installations for:

- automated and communicating equipment in buildings

After validation of the session minutes by the competent territorial representative of the ministry responsible for employment:
1. In the event of successful completion of the vocational qualification, the competent territorial representative of the ministry responsible for employment issues the vocational qualification to the candidate. In the event of successful completion of the CCP, the competent territorial representative of the ministry responsible for employment will issue the updated certification booklet to the candidate.
2. In the event of partial success on the vocational qualification, the competent territorial representative of the ministry responsible for employment issues a certification booklet to the candidate. Once one or more CCPs have been obtained, the candidate may take the other CCPs making up the professional qualification within the limit of the period of validity of the qualification. The candidate has a maximum period of one year following the end of the validity of the qualification in which to take the qualification.
However, beyond a period of one year following the date of validation of the session report by the competent territorial representative of the ministry responsible for employment for one or more CCP, the candidate from a training pathway will have to follow training consistent with the CCP or CCPs in question.
3. In the event of total failure to obtain the vocational qualification, or in the event of absence, the candidate from a training pathway has a maximum period of one year in which to take part in a new qualification session without being obliged to undergo further training. After one year, the candidate must follow a course of training consistent with the qualification in question.
Within the one-year period, the candidate may not attend more than three sessions of the qualification in question.
In the event of the session report being invalidated by the competent territorial representative of the ministry responsible for employment, the session will be cancelled.
